Origin and destination of nearly 1,000 million tourists worldwide

I wanted to post this graph (from "Ara" newspaper) that describes in a very simple way  tourist flows generated in 2010. 


Emphasize the importance of so-called "emerging countries" representing nearly half of the generation of outbound tourism. There are possibly emerging countries but are crucial and fundamental economic realities in the tourism business.


In big numbers, 50% of global inbound tourism is concentrated in Europe and 25% in Asia. The other 16% in Africa (most of them in the Mediterranean Coast)


As for countries, 8 out of 100 worldwide tourists choose France as a destination, being the number 1 destination in the world, and 18 out of 100 chosen Spain, China or United States.
